PORT STEPHENS TO GOLD COAST

Left Port Stephens with southerlies to push us north

Passing the heads of Port Stephens

2 days later and passing Cape Byron the most easterly point of Australia. It can take all day to get around cape as  the southerly current is strong but we did it in good time and actually had to slow ourselves so we had daylight when we reached the Gold coast seaway.

Rounding Cape Byron,  We are currently at the Gold Coast having a well earned rest . It has been raining continuously for the last 24 hours, so yacht bound at the moment.

  1. Hi Simon, My name is Ian,I am sending this on behalf of my friend Hugh. He met you briefly while in his inflatable at Husskisson just after xmas as you were heading for Sydney Harbour.

Firstly Hugh's email for contact is hughdickenson@bigpond.com

You might remember that Hugh wants to bring a boat out from the US. Question: You mentioned there are people in the states that will check boats out for you. It would be appreciated if you could provide some contacts or links when convenient?
