HEADED SOUTH, NOW IN ABEL POINT MARINA WHITSUNDAY'S

                                                             Port Douglas Marina
We had a great winter at Port Douglas Marina & will miss the many friends we made during our stay. The Port Douglas Marina is central to all conveniences & worth a stop over for supplies & fuel.Their friendly staff are very helpful & we recommend the Marina for those cruisers headed north. For Overseas cruisers a Croc sighting trip up the river on Lady Douglas is a must.

                                                                  Abel Point Marina
We used the SE & NE winds we had from Fitzroy Island & sailed through to Abel Point Marina, Airlie Beach. We love the friendly atmosphere at Abel Point & have caught up with cruisers that we met here last season. It's a very picturesque place with a short stroll to Airlie shops & Cannonvale has supermarket for supplies. We will be here for a couple of weeks exploring the many Islands that make up the Whitsunday's.

Simon's 51st birthday at Cactus Jacks
We had a good night
It was nice to have a rest from the shakes
