Whitsundays to Brisbane

 Sailed straight through to Sandy Straits from Sid Harbour Whitsunday Island. Simon caught this spanish mackrel around Bunderberg area, it fed us for days !

Airlie to Brisbane

Had a great time at Able Point Marina,heading south in a week or so with northerlies. Should be back in Brissy around end of Nov. It was nice to snorkel at Blue pearl bay in warm water before stingers arrive.

We had a great winter at Port Douglas Marina & will miss the many friends we made during our stay. The Port Douglas Marina is central to all conveniences & worth a stop over for supplies & fuel.Their friendly staff are very helpful & we recommend the Marina for those cruisers headed north. For Overseas cruisers a Croc sighting trip up the river on Lady Douglas is a must.
